Achievements and Standards

The standard of students’ work is very high. They produce seamless integrated ensemble work and some outstanding individual performances. In musical performance, students demonstrate significant aptitude with a standard suited to the requirements for both junior and leaving certs. Indeed some of the music being performed in the 4^th 5^th and 6^th classes has from time to time been accepted for solo performance in leaving cert.

Many students progress to joining local community concert and marching bands, to orchestras, to Irish music classes and on to studying music in the 3^rd level colleges.
